 John has been in the electrical industry since 1976 and has worked in a variety of electrical fields from maintenance and facilities to construction and management. In 1998 John was asked to utilize his Oregon Electrical Inspector Certification and went to work for the State of Oregon. During his tenure with the State, John worked as a field inspector, Master Permit inspector, Assistant Chief Electrical Inspector and spent five years as the Chief Electrical Inspector. John also had the distinct pleasure of being a dual chief when he acted as the Chief Electrical and Elevator Inspector. John has authored many of the current Oregon Laws and Rules governing electrical installations and participated in Code Making Committee’s, Legislative Committee’s, Electrical Exam Committee’s and has acted as an expert witness in compliance cases. John has provided continuing education classes for thousands of electricians and is recognized as a leader in the Electrical Industry in Oregon. In addition to teaching, John is actively involved in photo-voltaic and wind turbine installations throughout the United States and Canada. |
